Allstar Chimney began helping our neighbors by sharing our chimney care expertise over 30 years ago. Today we are proud to say that we have over 100 years of combined experience amongst our team of master technicians. We do all things chimney.

35 years ago trying to find a chimney sweep in our area was like looking for a needle in a haystack. We, unfortunately, witnessed a couple of house fires during that time due to chimney neglect. After that, some people resorted to using space heaters and heating blankets during our snowy months. Others continued to take the risk of using their fireplaces because they just couldn’t stand to suffer during the cold months. This didn’t happen because people were not concerned about their chimneys, it happened because there was no help.

The founder of Allstar knew something had to be done to improve the life of the community. He started in his own home by making broom extensions to sweep his fireplace and chimney. He would sit in his fireplace and look for any weak points that could result in a house fire and put
him and his family at risk of burning down their home. But he knew he couldn’t stop there. He would get on his roof and look for obscurities there as well. One of the first things he recalls realizing with his chimney is that it had moss growing in the mortar joints. He figured out a way to clean his chimney and reseal the cracks to prevent further destruction. He’ll never forget the day Mrs. Mary, his elderly widowed neighbor, saw him on his roof and called out to him asking if he would come to look at her chimney too. He instantly felt that he wanted to help Mrs. Mary feel the same comfort and safety that he wanted his family to feel that winter.

That was the day Allstar was born.
